Why doesn't OpenAI offshore and reduce expense by 80%
Recruiter called me and told me there was positive feedback after my onsite (a few days after), and it was going to the hiring committee for a final decision, and I would hear back late next week. The recruiter seemed optimistic, emphasized people enjoyed speaking to me, and was even mentioning topics like compensation and potential start date. 1) Does everybody go to HC after onsite regardless of positive or negative feedback? Or only a few? 2) How likely is it that after “positive feedback” somebody vetoes it and I do not get an offer? What kind of red flags would cause it not to go through? I really liked the hiring manager, and I think the feeling was mutual. Optimistic about this and I really like the team. Just wondering where to set my expectations. YOE 7 TC 320K
Did you talk with the hiring manager already?
This happens during team matching, which is after the hiring committee (very Google-like).
The hiring manager was one of the people I spoke to in the interview. This one was for a specific team
Why lyft over fb Try other options Heard lyft rsu policy may not have upside
Is Uber better? 👋😇
Well if the bump in tc is enough :) But may never actually go to lyft,
They are working on your offer. HC is the one that decides comps.
How sure are you about this?
Have you not heard that we are only giving 1 year RSU?
What does this mean? No refresher?
No more 4 year initial RSU grant just like stripe
Had the same thing happen at a unicorn then they got back to me and said I didn’t get an offer 🤷♂️
