I have an interview loop coming up with MS. I looked up the interviews and it looks like most of the interviewers are SDEs instead of Data scientists. Can someone from MS or someone who interviewed recently with MS for DS role give some insights on what to expect. Coding is not mentioned as requirement in the JD. I expect some Python coding but not a full fledged SDE coding interview. #data #datascience
Do you know if Japan is hiring for a similar position?
I interviewed for Data & Applied Scientist role at Bing Ads team a couple months back. There was a coding round where I had to code Convolution and Pooling layers using numpy (No Leetcode or SQL). Got rejected in ML breadth/ Statistics roundπ
Amazon, How did you prepare for such a round? I mean is there a platform from where we can learn ml based coding without using libraries? Thanks.
Most teams are short of DS interviewers, be prepared for some LC question
Lol. What a messed up msft policy. Just because you are short of DS interviewers, ask anyone to interview scientists.. lol How would you feel if SDE interview loops have economists in it asking econometric analysis questions to you? Lets see how good you are at pricing products.. ππ
