ML Engineer TC expectations for NYC, Chicago, SF?
- MS Mathematics/Computer Science - 2 years of academia research - 3-5 yoe in Machine Learning, some focused in NLP, minimal computer vision
Are there more opportunities in computer vision or voice recognition?
Hard to say. Voice recognition tends to present itself as signal processing. Computer vision is extremely valuable but only shows itself at higher end tech companies which aren't many- especially in Chicago.
By voice recognition, I mean more like natural language underatanding!
