I currently have a B. tech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. While I was working on my B.Tech, I was interested in both ML and Materials. But for campus placements I chose to go in ML field. Now I am wondering if there are any programs where I can work on ML/DS + Materials Engineering. I currently love my work but would love to go for an M.S. in this field. And: Are there any companies which specialize in this field? YOE: 1/Fresher Any suggestions are really appreciated. Thank you.

I'd like to get an MS in a hybrid field as well, but haven't found any options. It's too niche, even if the fields have natural synergy. Now I'm thinking that the easiest way would be to talk to the two program directors at the same school and see if I can get them to agree to one degree with a modified curriculum of a lot of classes from the other.
ML, Bayesian statistics, and organizational behavior around data collection and use. Easy to see how this would take a postdoc, but I can't afford a PhD+ out of pocket and don't want to live like a student for 5+ years. Already have an MS in analytics from before I knew this is what I wanted to focus on
I think this is what I should do. Look out for Campuses which provide MS in analytics/ML and Materials Engineering.
