This partnership further strengthens Microsoft's dominant position in the AI space. With exclusive partnerships with the top LLMs (OpenAI, Meta), priority access to Nvidia GPUs, and strategic assets like GitHub and Azure, Microsoft is making a huge move in the Game of AI Thrones. printer go brrrrrrr #personalfinance #investments #stock
Satya the best.
> exclusive partnership with OpenAI and Meta? This is bullshit. Meta models are available on every major cloud.
Just let OP enjoy talking 😁
Thanks for the information. I see that it's not exclusive. Picked up from a journalist's post.
So u agree that MSFT is reaping the benefits of others’s hard work ? 🤪
If it was that simple every other company could have done it. Google the mighty is not doing better either. Besides, Llama2 is being optimized internally to work efficiently on windows. That's a quality work. https://blogs.microsoft.com/blog/2023/07/18/microsoft-and-meta-expand-their-ai-partnership-with-llama-2-on-azure-and-windows/
Microsoft is just like buying shit and doing partnerships. Good strategy but no innovation at msft itself
I don't honestly care. 💵 Is all that matters. Besides what innovation did Adobe do? Buying figma?
I am not the one bragging about adobe
Kings of AI when they can’t even build their own models? lol
Open AI may not be successful long term, as Google may not release so papers any more
Why don't you and I leave the stuff to AI experts and focus on doing what we know better.
They are ruining GitHub, though.
How so ? Genuinely curious to know.
They’re operating the company similar to a VC investment. They give us money so we can grow and in return we will be profitable. The only difference is there is no contract or investment agreement and they can change the terms whenever they want. Rather than give us a clear runway with clear expectations they suddenly shortened the runway due to the “macroeconomic headwinds”. They basically put our LT in a position of having to quickly pivot from one priority to another and then drastically cut costs. It may look better for the MS bottom line but we are bleeding talent and the cracks are starting to show with the increased number of incidents. Incidents are one thing. Those are just the first sign of the talent being bled away. Give it another 6 to 12 months and I am guessing there will start to be major security incidents as that department got hit with layoffs and is also bleeding talent.
Aged like milk 😂😂😂
🙈
Now get back to work ur ass off to get a 0 base hike next year too 🔥
There is a separate thread cursing MSFT for that behavior. This thread is about celebrating how tasty our 🥜 gets. Now, please GTFO and produce our shovels. We gotta dig our 🪙🪙🪙
Working on it .,. We have no one here to claim their hard work ☹️
