Does anyone use a MacBook at Google? I am going through the selection process and they recommend choosing a pixelbook. Also wondering what spec MacBooks do they give out since they are recommending a pixelbook it seems the specs don't matter. Edit: am eng
Pixelbooks can have good specs too
Why tf would they give you a pixelbook 😂

Unless you like pixelbooks, there is no reason to pick them.
Are you going to use the specs at 100%, 100% of the time? If so get a Pixelbook, you can probably get higher specs on it than Macbook. Otherwise get Macbook, even the lowest end Mac will be more enjoyable and productive to use than highest end pickle book
Even if I'm only using specs at 100%, 5% of the time, it's still worth it to me. A maxed out MacBook is definitely better than a maxed out pixelbook so I just wanted to find out what specs they normally give.
Everybody users MacBooks execept a few Nooglers who listen to such advice.
😅
I mostly just use my Macbook for email, web apps, and SSHing to my desktop. It probably doesn't matter that much, depending on your job.
I got a macbook, but it seems u have to ssh to code and mostly use the webapps (gmail, gsuite) for stuff... so both end up being similar. The pixelbook does come with a pen and has a tablet mode(i think).
Are u non eng?
