When someone is interviewed what topics are usually asked? What I think of are algorithm/data structure, machine learning, and system design. Is this usually the case? Any other topics?
Overfitting and Regularization
Multivariate statistics topics such as principal component analysis may rear their ugly heads. It depends on if your team/role is more industry/algorithm based (nonCS people programming) or more CRUD app style.

Principal Software Engineer TC~300K at Microsoft vs 600K at Meta. Is 300k pretty low for Principal scope?
