Making friends in San Francisco
I recently moved to the city and I am finding it hard to make friends. I have tried Meet Ups but it's hard to make meaningful connections. What other avenues have others used to make friends? No trolls please!

Just let it flow. Don’t invest in people! In this day and age people are highly competitive and have no time for you. It is hard to make friends as adults so don’t force it. Instead read and invest in your hobbies. Things will fall in place automatically
Do something more than meet ups. Go do something, volunteer at a animal shelter, golfing range, kayaking, group yoga/running. They even have gaming arcades, if you’re into that. Something that you like to do in a group setting.
+1. Volunteering is good. A sense of accomplishment and chance to meet and interact with other people. Reminds me of Yes Man. Lol
