You know, I'm working at Ford, so I'm not making a crazy Silicon Valley paycheck. Combined TC of myself and my wife: $280k, living in Detroit suburbs. I would like to invest $50k from my $200k savings into a managed portfolio. What do you suggest me to do? Go with, employer provided (Edelman Financial Engines), or any other outside firm, like Merrill Lynch / BofA?

QQQ gets you most of the Silicon Valley’s and Seattle stocks with diversification. So one tanks (read Netflix) you don’t lose sleep. You can go TQQQ that’s leveraged 3x QQQ but risk is also 3x
