World's Worst Employer
Blame S team. Managers literally have no power to stop this. When I was at Amazon, the music org tried to PIP less people due to COVID and S team said their figures must be met and forced them to PIP people or be PIPed

Ok this goes on everywhere lol. It’s called politics. If your boss doesnt like you they can simply make up some bs reason to get rid of you. It isn’t exclusive to amazon, any at will employer does this sonetimes
This doesn't happen everywhere. There are many decent companies out there that don't treat employees like crap
But it can simply because of at will employment and it isnt the company but the manager, and there are shitty people everywhere.
What’s the scandal? This seems par for the course at Amazon.
what’s the illegal part? be specific and also cite the law. i’m not seeing anything illegal
Legally Amazon is required to be fair!
This is a scandal to people who aren’t familiar with how most modern corporations function. Most of FAANG and FAANG-adjacent companies do stuff like this. It’s not right and a great example of why even tech workers who have high TCs need more power and voice in the workplace.
lol this is normal at Amazon and nothing new
