I have been in the industry for a couple years, and I am looking to do a Masters in Statistics. Just out of curiosity, how much would programs stress your undergrad GPA as opposed to your work accomplishments, GRE scores, etc? fyi — I did my undergrad in Electrical Engineering
Be careful with stats. Some programs are highly theoretical and act only as feeder for PhD. If you want an applied education, make appropriate due diligence I got a MS and I use 5% or less of what I learned
Why in stats? Making one bad choice after another. Get it in CS this time, if you have to get another STEM degree. Also, no one cares about your Industry work for admission to decent graduate schools.
