Question about women in their 30’s?
Which company contributes more on 401k? I'll start - Msft contributes $9500 if you max out your contribution. Go.
what's the first?
Doubtful that’s second best in country, although quite good. Any of the 9%/10% of salary matches will be better at the top end
What is the best way to track your monthly contribution to your 401k? Also, keen to see how much my employer has put into my 401K too. @OP- sorry to be tagging on to your post and be asking this question. It has been on my mind for a while but never got down to finding out. Thanks for any and all advice, folks.
Track it on your paystub. Has per period as well as ytd.
Bank of America matches your first5% then gives another 2% or 3% bonus deposit once a year depending on LOS
ConocoPhillips matches up to 9% of salary on average.
Not amazon. They failed some IRS requirements again and some contributions were taken away.
10% from Amgen on base + bonus. Top end in the $20-30k range for individual contributors. Biotech typically does well on benefits (401k, vacation, etc)
I think apple matches up to 6% of base. Curious about Google, as that's where I want to be next.
Google gives you 50% bonus and there is no %of base limit.
Yes, 50% match up to the max, no vesting time, and google offers mega backdoor roth
There is already another huge thread created few months. It should give you all the info you need
Visa has a pretty generous 401k match. They contribute 2$ for every 1$ you give upto 5% of your base i.e. Visa gives 10% of your base
