What’s the highest paying company for Technical Project Managers? I’m in Professional Services. Interested to benchmark.
The comparison to SWEs is interesting, but not a bridge I’m looking to cross. To add some context, my TC is $250k. Trying to understand how that compares to other Technical Project Manager comp across other orgs and industries.
I have both TPMs and SWE in my Seattle Eng team. TC of Senior SWE (L5) range is around ~375-425k. all things being equal an L6 staff TPM range is about the same. This is for TPM who is part of an eng org driving org wide cross function initiatives. This role is different from a client facing project manager who typically works in a services org
That’s helpful. Anyone know how a Technical Project Manager in Professional Services would compare to a Staff Technical Project Manager’s TC?

Not sure if we have technical project managers , but TPMs ( Tech Program Mangers) TC is ~level -1 of a SWE
What numbers does that translate to in terms of base pay and TC?
