While I’m literally slogging my ass working in big tech (Amazon). I have friends without college degrees, who were formerly working at Nordstrom(Sales associate) and former scrub tech in healthcare. Both are around my age - 27 years old. Raking in 200k a week in medical sales within a couple of years in the industry. Is this true? For example, one of them works at Cutera as a medical sales rep and he made 240k just for the last week?!? Edit: looks like on a annual basis they’re netting 500k plus. But that’s still insane for someone of my age. Apparently a lot of them who have been in the industry longer make 1 million with a lot of connections with clinics and doctors. TC:210k
Probably 240k in sales, not 240k in pay.
Yes, that could be likely it. I’m in tech sales, and med device generally doesn’t come close to tech. I can bet he probably isn’t even making that annually.. it’s probably revenue. Also I think med device gets a very low base, if any..
Can confirm this is false. Maybe he made 240k this last week but not every week definitely not true that would mean he makes 12 mil a year lol
Not real
meh maybe like top 5% just like realtors
most badass sales reps open their own company and this is when they earn big $$$$. But it tough job - traveling salesman basically
Lol. No.
This is true. Top 10% earn ~500k pre tax. I’m 28
Its completely believable that someone in a corporate sales role can make big bucks, but it's likely a small % of the people working in those roles actually do....
Cutera will never pay 240K I believe the sales rep make money based on percentage received on each device. It will be interesting to know how many devices the person sold to get 240K in a week. Plus more the contacts better the price.
“If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.”
