Meta DS L5 comp expectation NYC
Got a verbal offer for Meta L5 Product Data Scientist. The offer will be discussed after the team matching. Can anyone share what to expect for NY area for this role? The blind numbers do not have enough data. TC:330K #meta #datascience

So you are Google L4 or L5, if L5 you may need to think more if good timing to join Meta ? Meta stock rebound a lot past 2 years & outperforms other big techs, given they fall most in 2022, so question become how about in 3 years later
I am currently L5. I know the timing is not good as google stock appreciated(from my grant price) and meta is all time high at the moment. But I genuinely hate(it affected my mental health) my team(manager per se) and not many openings internally.
Meta is good for money and that’s about it, so make sure you’d be making more. I would not expect any improved mental health or WLB over google.

Nyc has the same range as the Bay Area. Compared to Seattle adjust base and stocks upwards by 10-15%.
