Hey all! Would love data points and insight on if this is high or low band of DE offer with meta. Will have a convo with the recruiter soon to negotiate and would love any tips :) Not putting Accenture because I plan to leave regardless, but tc there is 98k
This is about right for DE. You can go higher based on interview perf Negotiate base to 165k Stock to 60k
How hard was the interview? Sql and python questions ? Were they from leetcode and easy or medium level?
Python was leetcode medium but felt like a hard to me lol, everything else wasn’t too bad because I use sql/data modeling/system design daily in my current role and am good at behavioral interviews
Would you say the.coding puzzles that they have on their careers website is similar to what they asked as well? Are you at a tech client with Accenture ? I wouldn’t have believed Accenture has much of a hand in the day to day since their consulting firm.
Congrats 🎉 How long after team match did you have to wait after team match?
This is not for product analytics so I don’t team match, I interviewed for a specific team
How many YOE do you have?
2
I make $95k at 1.5 YOE. Bravo dude 👏
Congrats choom you got your self a ticket to the big corpo leagues.
Great offer and bump, congrats. It's a great place to work and grow as a DE! 🎉👏
remote or on-site?
Hybrid. P sure it’s 3 days in office
OP, can I ask how did you get in Accenture as a DE? 0.5YOE fresh DE here. Working at a small company with bad tech stack, planning to move so I can learn more.
I just joined as a generic tech analyst with no de experience but got pulled onto a project as a de and learned on the job. That’s kinda how consulting goes - every project is different tech and you learn and deliver immediately
This is actually very exciting. I love the idea of exploring different tech, and heavily considering consulting. Would you say this is the same for every consulting company? And since I’m a de now, do I specifically look for DE role at consulting or tech analyst?
