Meta E5 Team Match Options
The recruiter listed out the following options for my E5 infrastructure engineer position: Could any Meta/ex-Meta folks shed light on which pillar you prefer and why? I prioritize job security and growth over wlb (I'm from AWS so it should not be much worse right? π ) Also, among the apps (FB, messenger, Whatsapp, Instagram) which one do you suggest? @op when was your interview? How long it took for you to hear back after on-site? I think there is a debrief first and then hiring committee. Did your recruiter communicate where you are at before communicating the offer?
I interviewed Nov 28, took me more than 2 weeks to get the result. I was freaked out since most folks got positive results after a couple days to a week. I actually sent an email after a week. The process is slow now since it's the holiday season.
There was no communication at all in between? Yeah seeing a lot of people posting heard back in 2-3 days! Just wondering how long it takes usually. Done with my on-site on Friday.

For folks interested in the interview questions. I cannot provide much details due to NDA but I would say 3 fb tagged leetcode, 2 google tagged leetcode, one coding question I couldn't find in LC. 2 hard 4 medium. For SD it's standard sd question covered in many books and YouTube channels.
Op for on-site we would have only two coding round, how did you get 6 questions?
You're right, only 2 coding rounds for onsite. I also counted the phone screen. Sorry for the confusion.
