My bootcamp mentor has been very nice to me, is it ok to give him a gift? TC: 300k
Sure, or invite them to lunch or give them a gift card. I wouldn’t go crazy, $25-50.
Give him some of the 🥜 you got from here
No
Probably better to send his manager an email, so there is data point for his next performance evaluation.
Good idea
There must be a company gifting policy somewhere on the intranet. I recommend you take a look at it instead of following internet community advice and getting in trouble.
Just give them a card, affordable, a nice way to appreciate them and always appropriate.
use the thanksbot tool
What's that?
an internal tool to indicate someone did a good job worth thanking. managers use this info
Gifts are not expected. Give thanks, plenty of them. These counts. Write a note explaining how the mentor helped you out and how they went over and above Offer them to write PSC feedback. This is the most important part.
Does this work for the recruiter too?
Do not give gift. Give thanks that the mentor can use for his performance evaluation
Lol.
