Meta New Hire Offer Rescinded no Notice?
Just logged into Meta career portal and my offer is gone. I didnt receive any email from recruiter or FB official account. Anyone else in the same boat? Was filling out new hire information like computer specs earlier this week. Thought i was in the clear after no news on Wed, but I guess not?
They are probably working through the backlog. Your recruiter may have been laid off as well so others have to pick up the slack
Yup both my recruiters were laid off (but im not sure why there needs to be a backlog - should all be automatable. Just punch in an employee Id)
They probably need to assign you to some person who can then give you a call. That person may have a backlog.

I'm not surprised, several of my daughter's friends (new grads) were in boot camp and got hit, never had a chance to prove themselves. Meta really screwed up.
They weren’t let go for performance, their roles were just no longer needed. They shouldn’t take it too hard, they now get a 4 month vacation
That's true, and that's what I told a couple of them as well, they have a great future to look forward to, getting hired by Meta was an accomplishment.
