Recently completed an onsite with Meta and aced all rounds. I received a rejection from the recruiter today saying "I did not get approval from our final review board". I felt that the whole process just treats the candidate badly with no real feedback on the outcome and i felt like i wasted a huge amount of time. Could any Meta employees offer insights into why this may happen?
Probably best to move on. Morale isn’t great, and people are willingly hopping back to old jobs.
Wanna help a random girl out? Meta referral would be 👌right now.
just move on. Meta recruiting team was good though. Sorry for your bad experience
E5 or E6?
E4
Did you solve both coding questions each round?
Yes I solved both coding questions with time for questions to ask the interviewer in the end
what questions? are they LC tagged?
How long ago was your on-site? Did they share any feedback besides this?
How do you know you aced all round. Sounds like you didn’t make it last debrief
Clearly they didnt.
What do you mean by not making it through the last debrief? Also they were hiring for ml positions across the org and I wasn’t interviewing for any specific team
Yeah, Meta sucks. Why would u want to work there?
Money
Recruiters don’t/won’t give feedback anymore. I’ve worked at and interviewed at all of them multiple times and they will never give feedback anymore. It’s like being ghosted essentially, you never know why….it sucks.
They never did. It's not an "anymore" thing
I received this 'you interviewed really well, and it was a tough decision' lol, how useful!
That’s their standard response! 🤦🏻♀️
He he I know
Any particular round you messed up?
Nope
