I have interviews scheduled for some embedded SWE roles at Meta. For the interview timeline both the phone screen and all the interviews on the metacareers page are labeled with "Spec SWE", it's not hard to imagine what that means but what does that actually do to my coding/screening rounds and system design? The Spec SWE guide for my section states only c and c++ are allowed and I'm pretty sure the roles I'm going for are C oriented. If I pick C does that mean I won't get nutty leetcode questions that require complex hashing functions, heaps, etc? Cause I'm going through the top 100 most frequent tagged for meta on leetcode and I've done most of it already in python. #engineering #software #swe #rl #embedded #reality #labs #realitylabs TC: 🥜
I am interviewing with them as well but for software Engineer role. Did it say *only* C/C++?
Hi @OP, how did it go? Can you share your interview experience? In my initial screen, the interviewer did give a complex question requiring hashmaps etc., that I had to switch from C to C++. And I have the full loop next week.
