Going through a Meta loop IC5 or IC6 Security Engineer (Remote) position and was curious how long it takes to hear back after the loop and what typical comp looks like for those levels?
The prep guide on the roles are extremely accurate. I'm a Security tool SWE/ProdSec SWE and that definitely helps for the Scripting and System Design portions. That being said, I assume I've been rejected since I haven't received an offer to date.
For sure!
it’s the same band as SWE
Do you know if they adjust for being fully remote position?
nope it goes off the location where you live
My screening was super easy..it was log parsing and splitting the string (I don't consider this LC). I have the onsite next. Any folks with experience if the technical is similar to the technical? The recruiter talked about the system design portion, but I am wondering if it is the typical SWE system design (design a URL shortener, messenger, etc). Any insights into this?
Can I Dm?

How hard is it to get into HRT or Jane Street after Google?
I went through the technical screening. It took them a day, but I told them I had another offer. 215k base and 150k RSUs for Bay Area and IC 5.
Thanks! It's surprisingly hard to find info out there about Security specific roles.
Hey may I know what the interview process looked like
