I got a nice offer at Meta. How would people at Meta describe the culture these days? Meta Connect seemed pretty cool. TC: $300k
It’s good place to be don’t listen to blind junkies
May I recommend that for questions like this, you need to trust the person giving the opinion. Reach out to folks on LinkedIn who are in the same org and ask.
It might be different from team to team. I'm here for already 4 years and I still like it. It's not an easy ride though. It is stressful, especially the PSC thing.
Meta culture is pretty good. Everyone is respectful, very little bullshit and work is interesting and challenging

Little over $410 TC for first 4 years
Blind isn’t an accurate representation. It’s a huge company, but by and large the people and work are fantastic. There is definitely a lot of pressure and significant performance expectations, but you are heavily rewarded for meeting those. I’m in Ads launching a major product, and I still enjoy working here most of the time. Feel free to DM if you want to hear more.
Avoid Meta, I've been here 5y and it's not the same company that used to be. It's becoming more like Amazon day by day. Lots of backstabbing and toxic politics. Leadership is hellbent on introducing changes to become more cheap and toxic
Seems like all of tech is becoming this
