Meta cutting down multiple products and features
Received this email from Meta today: "Because you’ve previously used Nearby Friends, Weather alerts, Location History or Background Location, we’re letting you know that these products and features will no longer be available after May 31, 2022." Surprised that nearby friends existed during the pandemic when people were isolating at home.
Surprised how covid numbers were increasing when ALL the people were isolating at home.

You need to be logged in and previous user of at least one of those features.
If they are removing a feature, why are they restricting the update only to the previous users of the feature? Sure, don’t notify everyone but at least keep the post readable by all? Shady if you ask me.
