Meta interview policy re:status
Hi all, I’m on h1b and my grace period ends on 12/15. I just passed the Meta phone screen and am nervously waiting for the next steps while they are assessing my visa status. Does anyone know if they have any specific policy to not proceed if the time line seems tight? I have 140 approved and still 4 yrs of h1b available, but looks in order to have the transfer initiated, LCA needs to be turned in around 12/5, which means around 12/3 I’ll need the final team matched done, and by 12/1 the debrief should be done, 11/29-ish should be the interview date. But they haven’t got back to me yet. Should I just let it go and move on? Thank you all! #workvisa #meta
If you’ve filed your I-140, why not expedite it in premium processing and wait for 6 months before you change employers? That’s if you were born in India. Otherwise get your GC and then leave. If you can crack Meta once, you will surely do it again.

Too many moving parts would rather focus on some other offer if you have one and jump back to this one. But that said, if they want you, they can move really fast.
