Not sure how y’all do it. Terrible experience. Looked at leetcode solutions after my interview and the comments basically say “if I got in this interview I’d definitely fail.” Maybe I just got unlucky. Onward, I guess. LC 200+ TC 475k

Hard question or?
2 medium 2 hard. Mediums were not straightforward.
Were they not from the top 50/100 ? Any DP questions?
1 from top 100, others not
FB tagged? what difficulty. Give some more background
Can you share the data structure or algorithm for the problem?
What they don’t tell you is that you have to be prepared months in advance. You work at Lyft. You’ll be fine.
I got some obscure probability question lol. I gave the non-optimal solution which of course was followed by “can you do better.” Looked it up afterwards and it was one of two questions under some obscure tag on LC.
Spill it 🙃
Can you do better??
It's not about getting the answer or at least it wasn't with my interview. I basically had no idea how to do this one question and we just talked and slowly figured out what needed to be done, I didn't write one line of code... Still got an offer.
That is rarest of rare experience. 99% it results in rejection
Maybe but since this was my experience I literally do the same when I interview people. If they talk to me that's positive feedback

Women, help me understand why this is inspirational
Same. Got f**ked in some interviews. People keep talking about how the job market is hot and GTFOing is a must, but I fail to understand how they're able to do a solid prep and also do their day to day job. Maybe I'm just dumb.
I think it’s a combination of really dedicated prep (basically getting familiar with every problem type and variation) and luck 🍀
Following. Planning to take one month off just for prepping. Worth it?
