Meta recruiter rejection
I had a call with a meta recruiter that went great, he mentioned that he’d pass my resume to higher ups to check before scheduling my first screen He later sent me a email saying I didn’t get approval for interviews. Why give me hope like that? How tf am I supposed to compete with the onflux of layed off FAANG bros, even though I’m just as competent? LC: 450+ TC: 0

Same thing happened to me with Zillow even after I applied with a referral :/

Don’t take it personally. Same thing happened to me. It means you’re jot qualified for that role. I applied for other roles and scheduled a call with a new recruiter.
It sucks, but it’s how things are in a market with newly finite growth.
