Or was the recruiter just bluffing for whatever reason? They were the ones reaching out to me but then the recruiter mentioned that requirement over a call and said they think it’s ridiculous, but that’s a non starter for Meta. Is this true or they just tried to dismiss me? Never heard about that requirement anywhere else so I suspect they just maybe didn’t want to cancel the call and they are expecting a hiring freeze or something? Edit: this was like the first thing they said so I don’t think it’s anything specific I said.
If you are doing the loop now, you better complete them in the next two weeks. Hundreds of folks stuck in team matching already
That’s kind of what I expected… I did not pass since the recruiter said it’s a non starter
I’m interviewing now for E4, no degree. I discussed it with the recruiter and it wasn’t an issue
Thanks for letting me know. I kind of figured. Still weird that a recruiter would lie. If I had to speculate, something is going on and they didn’t want to cancel interviews to make it obvious. Or maybe it just wasn’t a good fit for whatever reason and I’d appreciated it if they could have just said it that way. Oh and good luck! :)

Do you have “equivalent practical experience”?
I have an equivalent practical experience, which is relevant to every other top tier company I talked to, yes. And again, they were the ones reaching out, I did jot apply, and I wanted to interview mainly to practice. I am wondering if that’s true or not and if the recruiter was honest cause I thought they weren’t.
