I know that because I have friends who are actively applying for internships. The first time they posted 2023 internships was towards the end of September and that was for University of Waterloo students. The general apps will open in November according to a recruiter.
Not fake news. Some interns got offers back in April for the UK office, they were supposed to start in 2023.
