Meta visa sponsorship
I applied last month to Meta for the SWE position. I passed the team match interview but at the end of the process they did not make me an offer because there was no way to do sponsorship for h1b visa. (I don’t have an H1b visa, need to go through h1b lottery) Do I need to do the whole process again? I don't know why I did 9 interviews if it wasn't possible to hire me at that time :/ I indicated that detail to my recruiter from the beginning. #meta #sponsorship #visah1b #h1b

Meta has a huge problems with PERM. Do you want to migrate with them?
there is a way to say it..usually meta manager and hr dnt understand legality and they might think its a big burden for them..frnd was in same situation ..but was able to convenience thn
Troll post. Meta asks for authorisation form at the beginning itself , before the phone interview. If you don’t have document, there are high chances they will not even move forward with phone interview. I really doubt what Op is mentioning
this. however, there are some immigration delays since they evaluated my immigration docs after the interviews and luckily got an offer. they did say my onsite could be cancelled if i dont submit immi docs

ok. ask Meta recruiter to give remote option for 1 year ..and after tht u ll b eligible for L1 visa ( without lottery) . in the mean time they ll apply for h1b and if it comes then u can travel earlier by 1 oct or 20th september. tell them how eager and excited u are to work. in the worst case ..u can ask them to work as contracter for a year or so
