Which is harder? Meta asks questions from a defined list of questions whereas Amazon asks any question in the top 100-200 interview questions which makes it purely a problem solving and luck game.
I worked for both. At Amazon, I passed the first time I tried without studying much, they did some "classical" problems that anyone who have ever studied algorithms already saw, like find two numbers that sum to a value inside an array. Meta I passed only in the second try. The first time I didn't study and I struggled in many questions, the second time I did the LC list for Meta and I think out of 8 questions they asked me, I have seen 2 on the LC list (so 6 were new to me). I thought it was harder than amazon, the questions were more challenging to solve in my opinion.
Can you write text justification code?
Amazon doesn't have any interview question bank, interviewers have to come up with their own questions. So it can be very hard or very easy depending on luck.
I failed the tech screen at Amazon.
Did interviews in the companies and got offers from both. Meta's problems are harder.
Meta copy pasted from lc literally. They're laughable
Larger question bank.
