Please let me know which one should l choose. Meta - E5 Chase - Lead engineer
TC?
VP at chase means absolutely nothing. In the finance industry VP title starts getting handed out at 3 years of experience. I would be mostly concerned about compensation here as I would be extremely surprised if Chase could come anywhere close to Meta for that level
I am not much worried about compensation. PERM and wlb are more important
Is Meta processing PERM for new employees?
What team for Meta ? It usually determines WLB
How’s infra at Meta?
How is this even a question?
JPMC if you want to coast and get low TC. Meta if you want to work for high TC. I’ve worked at both.
Glad to know that you worked for both the companies. Are there multiple VP levels like VP1 and VP2? What would be the base for VP level? What could be the salary difference between Lead engineer/VP and E5?
Is Meta still offering competitive salary even after layoff? Are the salary range shown in levels.fyi still relevant?
Yes. Better than most places except HFT firms or OpenAI and their paper money.
Meta while crappy in many ways, trumps Chase in every aspect.
Does Chase give RSU?
