Finished my virtual on-site on 20 Jan, sent an email one week later for updates and responded with "result will be available in 2-3 weeks". Received an email today saying the positions are being filled out, told to expect another update within 2 weeks. Pretty cryptic. My understanding is that I did okay in the in the interviews, but not excellent that an offer was outright made. That being said, it's still a good sign since I'm not rejected despite positions are being filled? Anyone has faced the same situation before? How did it turn out? I'd be glad if a Meta recruiter could explain what this means ----update---- I was told that my packet has not been sent for candidate review due to the uncertain openings. #meta #facebook #newgrad
Make you feel better it’s been more than 3 weeks since my interview and I’ve gotten no update at all lol
Send a follow up and see how things went!!!
Did you ever get results?
Your packet is probably making its way to HC. Also, if the recruiter didn’t follow up with you quickly after on-site, you most likely didn’t ace the rounds. I got Meta reject call around 8 days after on-site.
Yeah I didn’t:( Just followed up with them and was told the packet has not progressed for candidate review. Guess the update doesn’t mean anything that way.
2-3 weeks for a decision is a decent time for Meta though. You might of actually reached the bar and they are looping with other candidates right now. Best of luck!
