TC: 165k 120k base + 40k/4 yrs RSU + 5K relocation. 10% bonus each year (subjects to performance obviously). No joining bonus because they feel RSU offered is high. E3 - Senior Circuit Designer. Boise, ID location. New PhD grad with one summer internship experience. Is this a good offer?
40k/year sounds high to me. A colleague of mine with 12years of experience was offered 100k/4 years RSU.
It is 40k/4 yrs, I have corrected it, sorry.
E3 is not Senior at Micron. If it's E3, it's a solid offer. If it's E4, base can go at least 10% higher and RSUs can go higher as well
I was told PhD graduates are given Senior roles and its E3 entry. I will definitely try finding it out.
AFAIK, E4 is Senior, E5 is Principal. PhD grads are typically offered E3 and MS grads with an E2 offer
Micron is work slave culture No work life balance, expect to stay late for oversee late meeting couple times a week
Is it? All of my ex-colleagues seem very happy at Micron compared to WD?
Maybe for singles with no family
Is that $40k/yr?
It is 40k/4 years. Sorry, I will correct it.
