Micron offer - review
I was offered a principal engineer role (San Jose) with compensation of base 215k, RSU -140k/4y years. Coming from WD, this is a significant bump but was wondering if I could negotiate more. current TC: 224k (9 YOE) in validation #hardware #interview #semiconductor
Micron policy is not paying 10% above your current salary so it sounds ok. Any other company? Micron isn’t the best

No, but there is a 20% employee discount on crucial.com orders. I even have a fun story about arguing with our internal IT about getting more DRAM for my engineering PC… while working in a DRAM factory
it's actually very difficult to get memory and storage for your workstations and laptops at this memory and storage company. You basically have to fight IT in a support ticket cage match for it.
