Microsoft - Feedback call
Update: F to the chat!11! I got the job actually. Hi folks, after 10 days from my onsite interviews. today I asked my recruiter for a follow-up but she only booked a 30-min feedback call without saying anything. Then I tried to ask for the result but still no clue... Is it common that Microsoft calls you just to say you shall not pass? I thought 3 of my interviews were good but 1 was not. What’s with your spelling of rejected? Lol but it could be either way. They might also be telling you that they liked you but it’s a headcount issue and you may have to wait for an opening (this was happening earlier in the year, don’t know if it still is)

Your recruiter responding to you is a big deal. I remember my recruiter forgot about me even after clearing all the interviews.😂
I was highly referred for my position basically locking the spot for me, (don’t know if they had any other serious candidates) and the recruiter took a month to reach out. I had to ping my friend that referred me as I was interviewing for other jobs and figured MS wasn’t happening. My friend hit up the recruiter and then everything got rushed super fast because it was close to end of fiscal year.
Could be about downleveling.
I'd rather it be that but it was not a senior level it was just a Software Engineering title 😞
30 min is too long for a rejection. Could be an offer?
