Did any of you recently go through the background check for Microsoft aspire program? I got hired at Microsoft recently under their Aspire experience program and was wondering about the process and duration of their Background check. Thank you so much in advance! #engineer #interview #Microsft #immigration #it
They have so many different positions available under that program. Some are in Azure.
For me it was about a month. But my degree comes from outside of the usa so maybe that’s why it took so long.
What country if you don’t mind me asking? Also do you know of any similar programs ?
I was hired 3 years ago through the Aspire program. My background check was about 2 weeks. I don’t remember the specifics of the process but it wasn’t really anything complicated.
Do you recommend the Aspire program, I am highly interested in joining Microsoft.
If the original comp is low, can you negotiate after graduating from the program to be at market rate?
For me it took 2-3 weeks for the background check, but mine was not through Aspire program. I am just done with my I9 verification as well, and would join in 2weeks. You can dm me if you have any specific questions
Mine was through hireright
Yes, I also just signed an offer with Microsoft. The Hireright process is taking longer than needed. It’s making me anxious lol.
Idk if related but my BG check was done in about one week through HireRight
+1, aspire
What was your total tc that was offered for the aspire program ?
Are you afraid of the background check?
I imagine they want to get an idea of when they'll start earning
OP i have some questions for you.. dm?
Sure!

It is a two-year learning and development experience for those who join Microsoft after graduating from an undergraduate, master's, PhD, or a full-time MBA program.
Is it in azure?
