Microsoft folks, any idea about how good the team is? The team sits in studio G.

It's a good team, but their offer is shit. Decide who you want to be. This is an inflection point for you. Build cool shit but make average pay, or sell cool shit others build and make good pay. No wrong answer. You do you

Level 60, I have 2.5 years experience.
If h1b is the concern i think you go with the safest but other than that giving your education and assume you also did well at oracle tc looks low. But these two tjing could be related. Msft could have seen thay you need h1b and lowballed you since you dont have much choice. Not sure tho.
Yeah I feel the same. I could go to Microsoft for H1B and at least convince myself saying I chose it for H1B. Plus it’s a good brand name on resume. Saying that I am troubled by not knowing how good the team is. Could you provide any insights if possible please?
I dont know the team unfortunately. Can you reach to your recruiter and ask to meet with some ftes from the team to answer some of your questions maybe.
If you're looking for technical work, then Data and Intelligence isn't for you. Most of the time, it's script work and creating fancy reports (except if you're in Fundamentals, they do some real data science things)
What's the breakdown of the offer?
Base Pay: 117k Sign on: 25k Relocation: 5k Stocks: 130k
What is your advice? My other offer is from Zillow. Base pay: 145k Sign on: 50k Relocation: 10k plus free housing for first month. Stocks: 100k but negotiating. I still have two more tries for H1B and I have to choose between these two. I am not planning on continuing at Oracle because Manager isn’t supportive. Bachelors from Stanford, Masters from Cornell. Before someone asks, I am Indian so I guess can’t get GC real quick. Biased towards Microsoft for H1B. How is this team and please advice. Requesting sincerely.
