You can def ask for 270k . Also the benefits at MSFT are much better than Amazon (401k match/espp) so factor that into comp. I'd ask for 280k-300k .
Appreciate the input….yes i’ve made it clear offer should be north of 300k to become compelling…this is what i think they are gonna come back with… 175k base, 30% of base = bonus, On-hire stock = 175k vests for 4 years, annual stock 70k max(52k realistic)… no sign on bonus… i am told it’s top of the band for senior CSA

I asked them, they said Sr. CSA role so that can I grow into Principal in a couple of years. I have only 4 years experience in cloud so that might be a reason.
How did you prepare for interviews, and did you apply after a recruiter reached out?
Recruiter reached out. Prepped by breaking down the interview into 3 parts: Tech (prepped as per the job description, interview was straightforward, went broad & deep in couple of topics), Hiring Manager discussion (mostly behavioral) and Culture fit round (with a leader in sales I think, not entirely sure).
