Why I Find Free Palestine Inspiring
Coming as someone whose considering looking around: I'm not sure how to articulate this well, but Microsoft's been steadily increasing the diversity and inclusion aspects of our culture for several years now, before it was cool. I swear I saw a story even before this 2016 article (https://www.seattletimes.com/business/microsoft/no-pay-gap-between-men-and-women-at-microsoft-company-says/). Anyway that's just one dimension. And I don't know how other companies cultures are, but my (anecdotal) impressions leave me (especially by comparison) really happy with how well Microsoft is doing on this front. Classy and reflective of a mature organization. It's not perfect, but there's active, forward, noticeable impact. I'm deeply proud of that, and I'll probably miss it if/when I leave for another big tech company.
