I have been working as a vendor for a couple of years at Microsoft and got a FTE offer for level 61 and wanted to know if it's a fair offer and what would be my limit for negotiation. Total experience: 6 years Work location: Atlanta Base: 128k, Sign on: 20k/2years Stock: 90k/4years Annual bonus: 10-20% based on performance 12800k - 25600k TC: 173300-186100 Updated offer: Base: 128k Sign on: 30k\2years Stock: 125k\4years Annual: 10-20% 12800k - 25600k TC: 187,050 - 199850 Accepted #microsoft #offer #l61
If it's better than your current TC then go for it.
FYI new grads at Microsoft have better offers than this
Base is low imo. Should be around 140 for Redmond. Rest can be improved but base stands out
my new grad L59 offer was better than this, are you in LCOL? I was asking for 150k in stock, you could try asking for 200k stock and at least 50k sign on
For some reason Microsoft gives new grads higher stocks not sure why but thanks for the info. I am located in Atlanta
Comp is dependent on where you are working out of, city/state…keep that in perspective, if you want honest commentary you and the people commenting need to provide at least what state you are working in to compare apples to apples

I am L61 in Azure and my base is around $140k with 5 years of work experience. You could negotiate the sign on stock for sure and ask for at least $150k
