Microsoft Recruiter Laid Off
I am currently moving through the onboarding process at MSFT. Accepted the offer, submitted my background check info, and just saw on LinkedIn that my lead recruiter was let go today... Anyone have something similar happen? Curious what to do now. TC 200k #Microsoft #Layoffs

Your recruiter hired you. The job is done. So the layoffs.
I'm sure somebody else took over. They'll reach out once background check is done.
You can go to HireRight website also to see how background check is going; I found that super nice.
Askhr@microsoft.com if you get no response for two days straight. Or you can reach out to HM if you have their contact info.
But I agree with others. Give it a day or two before panic.
Apply to better companies.
Happened to me this year. I had to wait for two more weeks for them to find a new recruiter. Since you already signed the offer it should not affect you tho.
As cruel as it sounds, I am glad that my assigned msft recruiter has been laid off recently. The dude never cared to reply to any of my emails or messages, unlike the recruiters at other companies. Karma is a bish.

Apparently these were notified 2 months ago, and effective today.
