Hi, just got an offer from ms. 115 base 20 signing 30 stock grants Why do people include stock grants in TC? Since you only get a percentage of it per time? I think this is a good offer for my 2 yoe. What do u guys think?
New grads make more than that. Stock grants are included as TC because they are typically paid out annually and are as good as cash if it's from a publicly traded tech company.

You include what you get each year in your tc. So assuming stock is over 4 years your tc here is 115 + target 10% bonus + 6k in stock = about 133. We give level 59 college grads 150k in stock over 4 years, we don't do that for industry hires in general. If you had a competition offer from another tech company you could negotiate.
Yes, i know about that. In my situation, they say they cant go higher. Dont know if its worth fighting over it.
