Just leaving this here so people can understand how ridiculously insecure you have to be to believe a company mostly run by Asian/white males is choosing to discriminate against themselves. Percentage of women: 2014: 29% 2015: 26.8% 2016: 25.8% 2017: 27.3% (LinkedIn merger was mostly the cause of this increase) 2018: 28%
I’ll summarize since you are too much of a bonehead to read the article: This is apparently a new initiative intended to incentivize diversity hires by paying more money to those who aren’t Asian or white males. So whatever percentages you copypasta’d on here aren’t relevant (unless you have data from the future).
You read the article and still got it wrong? They're claiming there is a new initiative to pay *leadership* more if they improve diversity numbers.
