I applied for senior developer position at Microsoft in June. A recruiter contacted me and scheduled coding assessment with a senior developer from team. I felt positive when I finished the interview and expected next stage. Since then, I have been ghosted by the recruiter. The interview was July 16. I have sent 2 follow up emails to the recruiter but no luck. Action center from MS career site indicates I am still in review for the position. There are the senior developer who interviewed me and one more person CC'ed in my email thread. Should I send another email including them? I've never expected this weird experience from big company. 😳
I had an interview with the hiring manager. 2 days after the interview, the recruiter emailed me saying that i cleared the interview and would receive an email from the scheduling team to schedule the full loop. It has been 2 weeks. I didn't receive any email. I sent 3 follow up emails, no response.
Same. Interview for Minecraft launcher team. Radio silence.
Same! HR are so slowwwww... Asked them "do the offer still stand" and make sure to have other offer (or fake it). This will force them to move. When i asked if the offer stil stand, then they answered in 5min while i have friends that saw them online on teams. And the recruiter invented a bullshit family issue saying that he was OOO during all this time...
Had an interview with the HM early this week. When done, he asked if I had another interviews arranged for the day, to which I replied no. Sent out a thank you email to the recruiters 2 days ago, no reply. I had similar interview setup about a year ago with Microsoft. Sent a thank you email to a different recruiter and she replied on the next day to keep on the lookout for the next steps. After 4 weeks, she emailed me that they did not move forward with my application. Considering I only had 1 interview, can I say that if I don't hear anything in a week, it means I didn't make the cut?
I would send email to those in your email. Right now lots of people taking vacations so could be they are out of the office. This stuff happens all the time especially more often at big companies.
