Microsoft interview feedback
I recently interviewed at Microsoft earlier this week. I think it went well, towards the end the hiring manager said my background was great, I have the experience this position needs. Then she said its really between you and one other candidate. This threw me off a little bit. She added you are one of my top 2 candidates. I am unsure if I should be proud or worry that maybe I did not make it. No response from the recruiter since it's just been 2 days. Also curious how long is Microsoft taking after the final interview to share results in July 2020 and make an offer? #microsoft #interview #digitalmarketing #offer
It’s about a week from when you interviewed. So if you interviewed this week expect a call or an email next week.
Thanks. Is it worthwhile to email the recruiter or just stay put and be patient? I have heard they lowball your offer if you show too much excitement.

Not yet. I had my final round on July 28th. Still waiting and fingers crossed.

That’s just a ploy to try and prevent you from countering the offer. If you get the offer you are the only one.
How many days do you think the recruiter takes to get back?
That I cannot say. Too many dependencies.
