Microsoft onsite interview feedback timeline

I had an onsite with microsoft last week for SWE 2 position and I still haven't heard back from the recruiter yet. One of the recruiter also reached out to fill up hr question ( visa type, expiry date, and TC expectation etc.) couple days after the onsite but I'm not sure if this is a positive sign since they were all generic questions. What's the usual timeline from interview to feedback for Microsoft?

Did you interview in a group event? There might be a waitlist but unsure on that. I myself interviewed with Microsoft Azure 3 weeks ago in a group. Myself and another applicant got our results 2-3 business days, I got offer they didn’t.

Move on. If they were interested you would have known by now. You probably arent their first choice

Interviewed Wednesday, like 10AM-7PM. Told Thursday that they intend to make offer. They asked if I was leaving anything on the table, and expectation. Friday morning got the offer with signing bonus. Accepted and resigned after lunch.

Interviewed on Thursday and got offer for L65 on next day by noon. Rejected the offer straight on phone as their offer was way lower than my current TC..

Depends. Might be trying to shop for teams within for you. Complications like that happen all the time cuz the hiring process is shit.

Depends on a lot of factors, really hard to predict, as each team hires differently. Sometimes they are not sure in your perf, so still compare other candidates. Sometimes it's just a recruiters' fuckup, so they'll follow up with you with an offer once pinged directly by HM several times

I’ve personally heard a few days and I’ve seen(experienced) a full 2 weeks. According to the advice on here I should of just consider it a loss after 5 days..
