Joined Msft in Jan 2020 ,rewards at level 64. Look like - Merit inc 1.5% on base of 170k , 10000 bonus and 15k stock.... looks low to me... where does everyone else stand? #rewards
Engg Program Management
Oh that’s low af then. A Sr. PM getting 10K in cash is Bull shit. I would have a performance discussion with your manager to figure out what went wrong.
Yes I was thinking the same... new to msft and this is first rewards...also what does a good reward for Sr.PM look like?
I don't know about PM but I got 5% merit increase and 15k cash, I'm only a l60 swe
Thanks for the info how long have u been with msft?
It's not great, but not bad for some one six months into a role at L64. It's a meets all roughly though things vary across orgs. Take this from some one who recommends these numbers for people
Target stock i.e 100% rewards for L64 is 15K stocks. In other words you “met expectations”. Not bad for the first year. Bonus is pro-rated, which is why it’s low. It’s 15% of your pro-rated base(look at total rewards page) Merit is low, but I’m guessing it’s because your base is on the higher end already.
Why would bonus be prorated if OP joined in 2020 of last year?
Sorry, I misread that as 2021. Yeah shouldn’t be prorated . That bonus comes up to 6% of base, which is wire impossible considering stock bonus indicates 100% target.
What disciple are you?
