In my call with recruiter the day before interview she asked me to be ready with a figure when she calls next time with interview results...I referenced levels.fyi and thought somewhere 220k is a good number...need some inputs from blind family here on how much can we ask recruiter if given an offer. 220k for senior is less. 61/62 are making 220k at msft. Ask for atleast 250k

220k is low even for an SDE-2. Don’t settle for less than 280-300k Atleast for senior. Even Amazon pays 320+
SDE 2 at Microsoft with 210k+ is great. Just not at Amazon or Google.
Top of band L62 (Azure) looks like 160, 225/4, 50+50 which overall brings TC close to ~280k (+stock growth) for first two years. Please note that this was after CVP approval and is likely an outlier. Source: I got this offer.

Senior is L63 or L64. As an L63 when I left a few years ago, my TC was around $240k and my base pay was $180k. I was in the Mountain View/Sunnyvale office, which is on a higher pay scale (by about 10%, IIRC) than Redmond.
Recruiter wanna chat ....on monday..I asked to call her today she said will do in 1 hr... .man..this 1 hr seems the longest in my life...restless on the outcome... Update:: no call..shud have to carry this suspense over the weekend I guess....really no hopes as of now...for me....guess a rejection
