MS is the better job.

No state taxes in WA evens these offers out.

Unless the team absolutely sucks at MS you’ll be much better off there. Where’s the GS offer?

Apple AngryCat Jul 11, 2018

That MS RSU seems really low. Is that typical?

Oracle BSJr60 Jul 11, 2018

For lower levels it's what I've seen

Microsoft qbys57 Jul 11, 2018

RSUs for industry hires really suck. I got like 30k

Microsoft Albany1 Jul 11, 2018

GS will squeeze you dry even though they pay more. Your bonus will not be 100%. More like 40% even if you are a top performer. Also it's way more stressful than ms. I know many people there th Hate it.

Ask for more stocks from MS. I got more than that as a college grad 6 years ago.

Microsoft fiana Jul 11, 2018

Same here, 2 years ago

Microsoft Whereisthe Jul 11, 2018

Microsoft pays much more stock to new grad than experienced.

Dude - i have my securities licenses from a past life & my best friends cousin just had her 10-year @ GS - if you saw what bond traders make then you’d take that offer letter, piss on it and mail it back to GS! However, the bonus of 100% of base could be spot on. Traders 100’s of % of base. But it will depend on factors out of your control. Market factors will be huge.

Bloomberg MDAK64 Jul 11, 2018

I would go for MSFT

GS offer is shit, but if you go in and do well maybe you'll be a rich banker! 😉
